OM2P 802.11g/n High Power Access Point

Product Review (submitted on January 2, 2012):
We desired good coverage and fast throughput at an office. The setup was formerly using Asus RT-N56u's as access points, which provided great coverage. We needed to expand the footprint and needed a way to better monitor how the network was performing from afar...and decided to give the new open-mesh OM2P's a try.

It is very impressive. The range has been fantastic (as strong or stronger than the ASUS units it replaced). It took about 15-30 minutes for the system to configure itself once we set it up online and plugged them in. Now we feed it from two points, and there are a few points that operate as repeaters without any cat5 cabling. Our system is fed through FiOS (35/35) and we easily get 20M up and down through these with computers, tablets, phones, etc. The android monitoring app is a nice plus, as is the email notifications if a node isn't online or operating properly.

I'm planning on migrating a school and a church over to the open-mesh system in 2012.
